Michael,

Seems like you're doing everything correctly. I suspect you just need to
stumble across a reflector that is up and working. FYI, I have NEVER been
able to connect with "hilda.ncsc.org". Visit one of the CU-SEEME home pages
to get a list of reflectors to explore.
