I've had no success with the combination of Enhanced Cuseeme & SoftWindows
2.0 on a Performa 6300 w/16meg real ram, 16 meg virtual ram. Insignia's
winsock.dll is a wonderful piece of programming that gives you the ability
to share MacTCP resources between Windows 3.11, DOS 6.22 & System 7.5, but
it's just not stout enough to weild binary files from place to place. It may
be the for the same reason that DCC in IRC refuses to move.

As far as Enhanced Cuseeme from White Pine is concerned, I've installed it
and started the program. It's kinda slow. And it never got to a point where
I could connect with a ref without crashing. So, no real new info from me,
but I'd like to know if anyone out there has had success moving intense data
at all with SoftWindows.

BTW, I heard a rumor that SoftWinodws 3.0 can upgrade 2.0 for $49.00. Can't
verify the info though :)

Ronald, is there a newsgroup or mailing list concerning SoftWindows?

I have been following these discussions regarding the pros and cons of Pc
CU-SEEME v. MAC, color v.greyscale, and wanted to try them both out. I will
have the latest Windows '95 version of Softwindows in a few days and was
wondering whether CU_SEEME would work with this program. Has anyone tried
this? If so are there any suggestions as to the best way to do this? If you
have any ideas or are just curious if this will work please let me know.
Sincerely,
