I'm very proud to have been able to help Steve with this new version. He
did an excellent job, and I think most of you will be very pleased with it.

To help lighten the load on Cornell's FTP server, I have put a copy of the
new verison at this address:

ftp://204.64.168.200/cu-seeme.zip

The file size is only 281,263 bytes, should download pretty quickly, and is
VERY simple to setup. Feel free to download it from here, but PLEASE read
the Visual Users Guide that Tom Parker setup. It will answer most of your
questions quickly.

One thing I should mention about this new version is that the INI file for
it is "cu-seeme.ini" instead of "cuseeme.ini" so it will NOT pick up any of
your previous settings from the previous Cornell version, or frmo the White
Pine version. Below is the "default" cu-seeme.ini file which will be
created when you first run the program:

[AVICap Monitor]

As you can see, the default name of "Tom Servo" has been replaced by "TV's
Frank", and the default transmit and receive settings are 10 minimum and 60
maximum. Be sure to put in your own nickname, and adjust these settings to
the same as your previous version.

Also there are no reflectors built into this version, so you will need to do
some cut& paste work if you want to EASILY move your old reflector list into
this INI file. Here is the basic format for the MRU section:

[MRU List]
Current Target=3D204.64.168.209 conf#0
Length=3D6
Target 0=3D204.64.168.209 conf#0
Target 1=3D205.238.128.164 KLBJ-FM
Target 2=3Dpro60-test2.cit.cornell.edu
Target 3=3D141.212.122.28 Biker Street
Target 4=3D199.94.217.135 White Pine Public
Target 5=3D152.1.57.56 Magneto/NCS Univ

I'm not going to tell you how to cut and paste here...if you don't know how
to do this already, go get a beginners Windows manual, but there are a few
things you MUST be sure to do. Notice the "Length=3D6". Make sure that you
add this line into the [MRU] section, with the appropriate number (maximum
of 128) and that each line starts with "Target", then one space, then the
number for the entry. The first entry is "Target 0". The eleventh entry is
"Target 10". Also in the [Settings] section, make sure you adjust the "MRU
Length=3D6" value accordingly.

If you have any questions about this version, send them to the list, and
Steve or I or someone else will answer them as soon as possible.
