The changes to the sound routines in Mac OS 8.1 break things in CU-seeme.
I tried the current and several older versions of cusm and none were able
to send audio under 8.1. No crashes, however. I downgraded back to 8.0
last week after several other very frustrating experiences with 8.1, and
am now able, once again, to send audio. In your specific case, though, I
don't know what is causing crashes.

But, for the record, and everyone please pay attention:

CU-seeme does not currently allow users to send audio under Mac OS 8.1.
