Re: Cornell CU sees camera icon, not video!?

Thank you for answering!
What are the settings on your Mac version? What settings does you brother
use on his PC? What does your brother do to see your video? What do you do
to send it?
As far as linking, we linked just fine. I gave him my IP address, and he
linked to me via CU-SeeMe, which was running on my Mac. I could see his
name in my participants list as a lurker (since he doesn't have a camera).
He could see my name, but only a picture of a camera by it. No video.
That's the problem, he doesn't get my video.
I suggested everything I could think of for him to try, but nothing
changed. Both of our Transmitting and Receiving rates are 0 kbps. Maybe I'm
not sending him anything. If not, how do I turn on send video? I send it ok
to the Reflectors I've logged into.
I'd appreciate any suggestions--or maybe a screen shot of your CU-SeeMe
settings? I'd like to get this working before he's transferred to Africa
next month. If it works, he'll buy a quick cam--actually, two, one for his
home and one for himself, so he can conference with his wife and kids.
Thanks again,
