I have a solaris reflector running. I have made it where it will
automatically startup at boot time or when power loss etc..

I have a file in /etc/rc3.d

That starts all of my daemon processes such as httpd gopherd etc....

Why will it not start the reflector.

It seems that it does not know where thr reflect.conf file is located.

Where are you storing it.

Here is an example of my file.

# Local configuration file.
#
echo " start WWW server."
/common/www/bin/httpd&
#
echo " start Gopher server."
/common/etc/gopherd -u nobody &
#
echo " start Cu-SeeMe Reflector."
/common/cuseeme/reflect&
#
echo " start INN/BBS server."
#/common/etc/rc.news&
#

The reflect.conf file is located in the same directory as the binary for
reflect.

Where should it be stored or where should links be made?

I have to start it manually each time now.
