White Boards?

Thursday morning

Hello gang,

One thing I have never seen discussed here is the white board that comes
with ECU, and comparisons to other products.

Actually, the simplest white board I have come across so far is the one
which is packaged with CoolTalk, the audio-only plug-in which comes with
Netscape Navigator 3.0. (It is surprising to me that an audio-only product
would have put so much effort into a whiteboard, don't you think?)

The white board seems robust, rather intuitive, and imports a wide variety
of formats into its window. It even has a screen capture feature built-in,
so you can rather easily capture the results of your groups doodling... err,
I mean capture a record of the decisions you have made.

Has anybody extensively used the WhitePineBoard? Does anybody have any
comments about it or other products in this category?

It seems to me that whiteboarding (is there such a gerund? better check my
Funk & Wagnall's!) is an important part of videoconferencing. Although, I
must admit I don't use them very often. I really don't know why.
