Big Brother doesn't stop at the government and the workplace.

He's here on a far more profound level as evidenced by the fact that there
are video cameras everywhere, the malls and stores you shop at, the
apartment building you live in, the elevator you take in the parking garage,
the hidden camera worried parents place to ensure the babysitter isn't
beating their child...hell I saw an ad in a mail order catalog for a video
crib monitor! Video surveillance is everywhere.

The huge success of "America's Funniest Home Video" is built squarely on the
foundation that we as a society, no matter where we are, no matter what
we're doing, are being watched and recorded.
