NT initialization file, or Registry entry? The key was in the Registry!

Thanks for all the suggestions I have received.

I tried deleting the cu-seeme.ini from the /winnt/system32 path,
but that didn't fix the problem, nor did starting up either the quickpict
or quickmovie apps which came with the QuickCam NT drivers, and
changing the video format through them.

Following additional suggestions received, however, I relooked
at the NT Registry, and found the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> CurrentControlSet ->Services ->quickcam->Parameters
from which I deleted the CU-SEEME key entry. I then restarted CU-SEEME, and viola! it works!

Thank you very much for your suggestion to remove the CU-SEEME section entirely.
I had been looking for a key entry that defined the video format, but could not find it.

I am now FINALLY about to enjoy using CU-SEEME again.
I will also resist the temptation to follow the CU-SEEME config path:
Preferences ->video ->video format -> image size & quality
which enabled me to make the foolish mistake of choosing the invalid 1/4 video format
entry in the first place.
