Personally, if you're going to spend much over the $50-60 a refurb
B&W QuickCam costs, I wouldn't even mess with any parallel cam at
all.

CompUSA just had a special where they were selling a Hauppauge
WinCast card (combo cable ready TV tuner and capture card) and a
panasonic (color) "EggCam" for $199. This price _included_ a
free copy of White Pine's Enhanced CuSeeMe (comes with the EggCam).

was _supposed_ to be $139 - could have been a bad quote from a
typical ignorant salesman though).

This capture card/camera combo is _much_ nicer than a B&W QuickCam,
and I strongly suspect the Compro D-Cam as well.
