learn about that is to grab the Cornell 3.0b3 reflector source code at

RTP: for RFC 1889 for RTP and for RFC 1890 for RTCP. good intro page a decent FAQ on RTP

unicast: I'm not sure where to find info on this...Richard Stevens' books
for unix socket programming talk a bit about unicasting and compare it to
multicasting. Unicast = point to point

I also have a small page up on RTP that I'm doing for class but that
should get you started.
