New Cornell Versions Will Not Connect

I have both the 0.92.b2 and 0.96a17 versions.

On my computer at work they both work fine.

At home neither one is able to connect to anything. I get the first splash
screen from a ref indicating the various conferences available, but when I
try to connect, all I get is the message 'Unable to connect to
nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn' n's = IP address. On refs without the conference
screen all I get is the unable to connect message. I have tried over 20
reflectors already with the same results on every one. It dosn't give a
hint as to why it can't connect. (same thing on a direct connect)

Both connections, at work and at home are over modems to the same ISP. on
Pentium machines. I have chatted with several other people that have
similar problems.

My White Pine version has no trouble at either location.

Any Ideas Anybody?
