What has happened to my CU-SEEME

We have been using CU-SEEME 0.87b3 on a PowerMac 8600/300 with no
trouble at all. We were happily connecting to a mirror and having
successful teleconferences. Yesterday we went to use CU-SEEME and first
after double clicking on it, it just quit and we got the error message
about the application quiting unexpectively. Trying it again, it opened
the local video window and then froze the machine. I tried all sorts of
combinations of extensions turned on and off with the same result. I
also downloaded a fresh copy of CU-SEEMe and tried it with the same
results.

I then tried it on a different 8600 with the same result.

Any suggestions?
