I am not a Mac expert, but I do enjoy solving problems. Go to
http://www.macfixit.com/reports/system-errors.html. Is there anything there that
might help?
Try trashing related prefs.
If you have Ram doubler, try shutting it off.
Upgrade to latest OS version
