hi folks.

monday through wednesday (the 21st through the 23rd) we're doing
cu-seeme demos (along with many other things) at a conference in
amsterdam. the conference is called "wij geven kennis" (a pun which
means both "we announce" and "we give knowledge") and is meant to
introduce people in the netherlands to the internet. there's been a
lot of press about the "information superhighway" here recently, but
most people still don't know much about it. here at the multimedia
lab booth, we have a mac and a pc, both connected to our reflector.

our reflector address is 192.87.218.2, and the time is GMT +1 (that's
six hours ahead of new york, nine ahead of san francisco). the best
times to connect are as follows:

monday: 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm (this is the v.i.p. session! but you can
come in jeans and t-shirts, too. :-)
tuesday: 11:30 am - 5:00 pm
wednesday: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm (whew! long day.)

you can see me, my colleagues pien and xander, a whole bunch of dutch
people, and the inside of our exhibition hall. feel free to stop
in just to say "hi", or to hang out for a while. please visit early
and often!
