For general information on this service and how to use it, send the following
request in the body of a mail message to listserv@cornell.edu:

HELP

All requests should be addressed to LISTSERV@CORNELL.EDU.

You may leave the list at any time by sending an "unsubscribe cu-seeme-L"
command to LISTSERV@CORNELL.EDU. Please note that this command must NOT
be sent to the list address (CU-SEEME-L@CORNELL.EDU) but to the LISTSERV
address (LISTSERV@CORNELL.EDU).

If you prefer to receive messages from CU-SEEME-L in one fell swoop, you may
use the the DIGEST option to have CU-SEEME-L messages accumulated into digests
which will be periodically sent to you:

SET CU-SEEME-L MAIL DIGEST

If you wish to stop delivery of list messages temporarily without unsubscribing
from the list, you can use the POSTPONE option:

SET CU-SEEME-L MAIL POSTPONE

Contributions sent to this list are automatically archived. You can obtain a
list of the available archive files by sending an "INDEX CU-SEEME-L" command to
LISTSERV@CORNELL.EDU. You'll then receive a list of the archive files.

To get a specific file
write to listserv@cornell.edu
in the body type "get cu-seeme-L <name of file>".

Please note: Our listserv is annoyingly picky.
It will recognize the "get" command when followed by the name of the
archive (the same name as the list name) and the FULL name of the
particular file. For example, for the file "cu-seeme-l.28jun94", the
command you need to send to listserv@cornell.edu would be:

GET CU-SEEME-L CU-SEEME-L.28JUN94

To post an article to the list, send your message to the list address
CU-SEEME-L@CORNELL.EDU. You may obtain a guide to using the FEMECON-L
list by sending the command "GET FEMECON-L GUIDE" to LISTSERV@BUCKNELL.EDU.

The amount of acknowledgement you wish to receive from this list upon
completion of a mailing operation can be changed by means of a "SET CU-SEEME-L
MAIL option" command, where "option" may be either "ACK" (mail acknowledgement)
or "NOACK":

SET CU-SEEME-L MAIL ACK
SET CU-SEEME-L MAIL NOACK
When you're ready to receive messages again, use the ACK or NOACK options as
described above.
