I assume (dangerous word) that you are using the new release from White
Pines. If so:

I have a captivator board and just got the Quickcam and had the same
problem. Bring up your SYSTEM.INI file in the editor of your choice
(notepad works well) and look in the [Drivers] section for a line that says
"MSVIDEO=xxxxx". This line should point to your Video Spigot capture
driver, and you will probably find another line that says
"MSVIDEO1=quickcam.drv".

I'm not sure what Windows does with the "MSVIDEO1=" line, but just change
the other line to say "MSVIDEO=quickcam.drv" and put a semicolon (;) in
front of the other one, then restart windows. This will effectively disable
the Video Spigot card, tho, and I'm not sure how you can use both at once.

Perhaps someone else on this list can tell us how to use more than one
"MSVIDEO" line at the same time.
