Certainly networked connections have overhead packets compared to POTS,
and admittedly this POTS solution used expensive compression card to help
speed the conversations but still it demonstrates that such things are
possible at low data rates and ought to serve as a 'carrot' for the
net developers of vidconf software in the future.

And to other vidconf-ers out there: How does the latest VIDCALL compare
with the latest WHITE PINE CuSeeMe?
