This should function identical to MultilinkPPP connections, since that's
basically what it is. Depending on how they implemented MPPP you could have
either every Nth (N being the number of links) packet going over the link
device (in this case a modem), or "bandwidth on demand" which will fill
each link to capacity before using the next, or the every Nth byte over
each link.

The drawback with this is out of order packets if they use the first method
or second method, or processor intensive for the third. Out of order
packets can be dealt with to some extent by the MPPP software.

Other than that it should work without problems.
