Has anyone looked at the unix utility "sd" in the context of this
discussion? It should provide a good model for the CU-SeeMe Activity
Utility. In fact, I would recommend that we (ie. the original proposer)
attempt to keep the code as modular as possible so that when it becomes
possible to link mac and unix videoconferencing then we will be able to
meet them half way.

Sd stands for "session directory" and is part of the vat/nv/wb/sd package
that implement packet videoconferencing for unix(xwindows) platforms.

I can get a readme from the package if anyone is interested
