Broadcast of IEEE Lecture

The following CU-SeeMe conference may be of interest to list members.

The NRC/IEEE lecture to be given by Alastair M. Glass will be broadcast
on the local Internet using CU-SeeMe at 3:30 p.m. EDT in order
to access the usefulness of this technology. This broadcast supplements
the broadcast on OCRInet using ATM broadband technology.

In cooperation with the IEEE Lasers and Electro-Optics Society.

To receive the talk, a Macintosh with system 7, a IP connection, MacTCP
and a 16-level-grayscale display are required. CU-SeeMe is available
by anonymous ftp from gated.cornell.edu in pub/video. To receive the
lecture, simply connect to indy.iitsg.nrc.ca at 132.246.40.42. A maximum
of ten conference participants is allowed.
