found dig. component, unable to digitize?

Hi - I'm trying to get CU-SeeMe to work on my Quadra 840AV. I can receive
ok, but I can't send. I get this message when it starts up:

"I found digitizer component, but am unable to digitize. Continue in
receive-only mode?"

Any ideas why this happens? Sorry if this is a f.a.q., I'm new to this list...

If someone could reply by email as well, I'd appreciate it - I'm not sure
whether I got correctly subscribed to the list or not. Thanks...
