This is a brilliant idea, I think. Should work for both Mac and PC.
Suddenly ALL vido cards would be supported, and the mechanism sounds
easier than todays, using drivers (vdig / VfW).

Then I would not have to wait for a later version of the PC Card Camera,
a PCMCIA-attached camera from VVL. Their current version does not
have Video for Windows support, and when it does, I don't know if it
will be 8-bit palettized format.

So yes, I'm also in favor of screen input for video.
