Unable to Connect to any Reflector - a new twist

Hi all,

I been watching this list for some time now and a very common theme
is that people are getting messages saying the host is not
responding. Like most people I imagined this was because either the
reflector site was down or the net was just too busy.

I've been quite happily using CU for some time now on my P90 16MB
28.8k win95 PC. However, I've just installed an ethernet card to link
to a local Lan and all of a sudden I can't get to any CU sites
anymore - even though the site is up and running. For example I tried
to connect to 192.77.173.4 - "No Response" message appears, but I can
ping the site:

I've tried other sites that I know are always up - same results.

Does anyone have any clues as too what may be going on here ????

PS. I am eagerly waiting for the 1st of Nov for the Quickcam fix for
