Your problem is probably not so much address translation per se as that
your router, which does the translation, doesn't handle UDP packets well or
at all. Until the last few years, there wasn't widespread demand for UDP
packets, but CUSM, RealAudio, etc. has changed that. Your other post
regarding IP address content doesn't apply, but the reference to IP
tunelling does. You need to read up on the operation of MBONE. Just do a
search, there's tons of info out there.
