CU-SeeMe and TIA

I wonder if someone could help me:

I recently downloaded CU-SeeMe.68k0.70b9 along
with the FAQ and the README file. But I've
been unable to connect and see anything.
I've tried entering IP numbers provided through
the Mosaic page on which I found CU-SeeMe,
but all I receive is a dialog box saying,
"No Response from [IP Number]."

I'm using SLIP and TCP (on Mac Quadra 700),
and applications such as Mosaic, Homer, Anarchie...
work fine. I am also using TIA (The Internet
Adapter) instead of a regular SLIP connection.
Could this be the problem?
