SUN WABI follow up

Hey Kim,

My SUN setup for CUSeeMe is the following:

SUN SS20/71 running Solaris 2.4 and the bundled Wabi 2.0 windows
emulator.

The CUSeeMe version is 0.66WWW and at installation step, I chose
the standard winsock implementation (first in the list).

That's it, the first try gave me an image with 17 fps from overseas,
meaning that I had the Internet bandwidth (at that time...) and also
that the translated x86 decompression software can cope with this
quite fast ! (1 x86 instruction is 4 Sparc instructions as an average).

This Wabi 2.0 stuff is great and the CUSeeMe windows version is clean
software as it can run on this pure windows emulation (not dos call
supported).

BTW Dan from Sweden told me that the Unix "NV" software is compatible
with CUSeeMe protocol but having a glance at the Unix videoconferencing
software, I found imm, vat, nv, telesia and ivs...

Which one should I focus on to be:

1- running on a SUN with the SUN video acquisition hardware and audio

2- running on a PC under linux with my VideoBlaster board and SoundBlaster

being compatible with CUSeeMe folks of course ?

Anyone videoconferencing guru out there ?

Thanks,

Patrick
