Audio Only?

I have a PC and a business partner of mine has a Mac. We want to be able
to use the internet as a telephone, i.e. we don't desire video
conferencing, just audio. My two questions are:

1) Can I use CuSeeMe for audio conferencing only?

2) If both me and my associate are using the program, can we communicate
despite the fact that I am using a PC and he a Mac?
