Some "compatible" cards aren't

After much grief, we finally got CU-SeeMe to transmit video.
The secret is to have the correct video capture board.

We tried THREE of the cards on the "compatible" list before
finding one that worked. The keepers of the compatible card
list should retest the cards or take my word for it that some of
the approved cards do not work.

TARGA+ - Very nice card, however, CU-CeeME did not recognize it.

miroVideo DC1 - Another nice card, CU-SeeMe saw that the card was
installed and brought up a local video window, but
the window only displayed static. I spent a lot
of time trying to make CU-SeeMe work with this card,
and would have spent a lot more had Mike Bemis
not posted his reply to another individual who was
having trouble with the same board. For those who
did not read Mike's message, the DC1 does NOT work
w/ CU-SeeMe. The miroVideo D1 does. Thanks Mike!

ComputerEyes RT - Lousy card. Don't waste your time or money.

Orchid Vidiola Pro/D - Very good card that works w/ CU-SeeMe!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all those who responded to my questions!
