Win95 problems

H-E-L-P!!! :)
My equipment is as follows:
CuSeeme version W0.70b1
Machine IBM PS ValuePoint
Creative labs Se100 video blaster

and when I run CuSeeMe I get :
"capture device was not detected"
"Invalid handle"
"Invalid handle"
and my local screen is all snow, no picture.
The menu options VidFrmt and VidSource are enabled but do nothing
when I click on them.
Can anyone tell me what I have done wrong?
