FYI, I made the plunge and installed Win '95. This is a note to encourge
those of you that are holding back to go ahead and be brave. I like many was
hesitant to try. After a summer of configuring 3rd party winsock apps,
everything finally was working and I didn't want to 'mess it up.' However, I
am noticing a dramatic IMPROVEMENT in the quality of video I am receiving,
for whatever reason, under Win '95. The picture is cleaner, sharper, and
clears of pixels and blocks faster and more completely.

Maybe it has something to do with using the 32 bit winsock that comes with
MS. This can be tricky to configure, especially for Netcom users. But there
is an excellent resource at http://www.windows95.com/tcp.html. Print it out
and follow it step by step. Take the plunge! All my apps work great! Glad I
upgraded.
