I would like to suggest as an alternative to get a parallel card. Set it
to LPT 2 and drop it into a vacant slot inside your computer. It is easy
to do and frees you from all future hassles because there is no messing
with switches and other uncomputerlike operations. Besides, parallel
cards are cheap, $25.00 max!
