CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS

is pleased to announce a conference on
INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGY IN HEALTH-EDUCATION:
VIRTUAL REALITY, DISTANCE EDUCATION, ELECTRONIC CLASSROOM
to be held August 10-12, 1995 at
SUNY Plattsburgh, Plattsburgh, New York
The conference is being conducted in conjunction with the opening
of the new Virtual Reality Lab at SUNY Plattsburgh dedicated to
the use and development of distance learning and the electronic
classroom as an educational tool.
Nurse and Allied Health educators, librarians, and technology
experts are invited to submit proposals. Presentation proposals
are invited that will focus on the conference themes which are:
+ Virtual Reality Teaching Applications
+ Teaching-Learning Strategies For Electronic Classroom
+ Distance Education Strategies For Interactive Audio and
Video Environments
Consideration of papers will be made without regard to submitters
race, color, religion, national origin, sex of physical handicap.
Papers presented should be planned for delivery within forty-five
to ninety minutes. Presentations may be made by more than one
presenter.
Submit a 300-word, double-spaced presentation proposal abstract or
the E-Mail equivalent and a one paragraph personal biographical
sketch of the presenter(s). The abstract must be received no later
than April 3, 1995. Decisions will be made and presenters informed
by April 15, 1995.
