2000 Women’s Studies Program Coordinators’ Award

The Women’s Studies Program Coordinators’ Award has been established to recognize an Indiana State University student whom the Scholarship Committee judges to have made a significant academic and/or service contribution to the Women’s Studies Program during the academic year. The Award carries the names of the Coordinators of the Women’s Studies Program--Jane S. Bakerman, Vera G. Channels, Katherine Hsiao, Myrna Handley--whose service to the Program is recognized and honored with the giving of the Award. The 1998 Award is a cash prize of approximately $50.00.


NOMINATION:

Any student or faculty member may nominate any full-time student as a candidate for this Award; students may nominate themselves.


APPLICATION MATERIALS:

The nominator must complete an application form available in the Women’s Studies Program Office (Dreiser Hall 201). Click Here to go to a printable form.

The nominator should supply a summary of the course work the nominee has completed or in which s/he is currently enrolled and/or the activities in which the nominee has participated; the nominator should include a statement indicating the significance of the nominee’s academic and/or service contributions to the Women’s Studies Program.


DEADLINE:

Completed forms and accompanying materials are due to the Women’s Studies Program Office by Friday, January 28, 2000.
