The CNN News Network on-line has two useful current-event tools. The first is a news quiz which quizzes students on their knowledge of current events. The second is a world news category which has subcategories addressing issues in Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa, the Americas, and Middle East. Both CNN areas are effective, interactive tools for students.
